**Facilities Technician**

**Location**: Brentwood, Essex

**Salary Range**: £35,000 - £45,000 per year

**Overview**:
Join our marine engineering company in Brentwood as a Facilities Technician. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our buildings, infrastructure, and facilities across various UK sites, ensuring regulatory compliance and overseeing maintenance activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in maintaining, upgrading, and ensuring regulatory compliance of buildings, infrastructure, offices, and workshop facilities.
- Coordinate planned maintenance for workshop machinery and equipment to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Support electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems installation, modification, and maintenance within the buildings.
- Manage service contracts for outsourced services and procure new machinery or company equipment.
- Collaborate on office and workshop layouts design, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Implement SHEQ policies and adhere to local and group policies, reporting to the Facilities Manager.
- Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years' experience in facilities maintenance, with expertise in Electrical, Mechanical, and HVAC disciplines.
- Strong knowledge of facility maintenance, building systems, and relevant regulations.
- Proactive individual with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Eagerness to develop skills and take on new responsibilities with provided training.
- Full clean driving license required.
- Availability for unsocial hours and out-of-hours call outs.
