We are seeking a skilled Operations Coordinator to join our team at Focus Resourcing.

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Vehicle & Plant Manager, assisting in hiring, tracking, verifying, and maintaining commercial information. They will also liaise extensively with operational personnel and approved suppliers.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £23,800 - £25,000 per annum.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing administrative support to the Vehicle & Plant Manager
  2. Assisting in hiring, tracking, verifying, and maintaining commercial information
  3. Liaising extensively with operational personnel and approved suppliers
  4. Assisting with the 'on' / 'off hire' of plant and fleet assets
  5. Ensuring weekly plant returns are completed accurately and on time
  6. General data entry and administration duties
  7. Logging 'write off' / 'break down' data and general plant information
  8. Basic diary management for vehicle and plant inspections and maintenance
  9. Maintaining accurate data on our in-house system (JMSx)
  10. Raising purchase orders
  11. Answering department calls

  1. Previous admin experience
  2. Previous hire experience in the vehicle and plant industry (desirable)
  3. Ability to organise a busy and varied workload
  4. Good telephone manner
