Propel Technology, a North Oxfordshire-based PR and marketing agency, is recruiting a part-time administrator.
- Location: working from home and able to travel to Banbury approximately once per month for a face-to-face meeting with the business owner. Hours: three days/22.5 hours per week, which can be worked across four or five days per week i.e. to work around school hours and childcare arrangements._

Pay range quoted is for FTE.

**The Administrator role**

Even before the pandemic, Propel was a virtual agency, with freelance team members, suppliers and clients located all over the UK and indeed the world It is the job of the administrator to bring all operational elements together, behind-the-scenes. The administrator will be hands on with each client account.

As a small owner-managed business, where the administrator is the sole company employee, the administrator will be comfortable working directly with the owner most of the time. The administrator will be involved in most company activities and wear a number of different hats. They will be happy working remotely, alongside freelance colleagues and with the support of the owner and suppliers.

**Administrator qualities, skills and experience**

Experience in invoicing, accounts and Microsoft Excel is essential.

They will be a confident communicator, both written and verbally, and be able to demonstrate maturity, resourcefulness and the ability to take responsibility for their varied and deadline-driven workload.

The administrator will have excellent computer and internet skills and working knowledge of Microsoft packages. They will be au fait with file sharing and storage platforms and comfortable working with straightforward website content management systems and online banking platforms. Basic knowledge of Wordpress websites as well as Xero accounting software will be an advantage.

**Administrator tasks (examples)**
- Accounts support: paying suppliers, client invoicing, credit control, expenses etc.
- Managing project-tracker Excel sheets
- Distributing press releases via third-party software platform
- Setting up and distributing customer e-shots via Mailer Lite
- Social media support - publishing Linked In, Facebook and Twitter posts, tagging companies, manipulating images etc.
- Managing advertising bookings
- Updating client websites
- Collating and searching for media coverage; reporting coverage to clients
