AK Teaching, a leading supply agency, is seeking enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our team and work in SEND schools in and around the Blyth area. If you're ready to embark on a rewarding journey in education, we want to hear from you

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-to-one or group support to students with SEND in a classroom setting.
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Offer emotional and social support to students when required.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with students with SEND is desirable but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build rapport with students.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic educational setting.
- A clear and up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £75.00-£85.00 per day

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Blyth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Special education: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
