Vision for Education - Newcastle is seeking a dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team in a Secondary SEND School based in Blyth. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work in Key Stage 3 and 4 classes on a full-time basis, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with SEND in a small class-sized setting
- Work collaboratively with the teaching team to deliver high-quality education
- Assist with lesson planning and preparation
- Provide individualised support to pupils with SEMH needs
Requirements:
- Experience of working with primary or secondary school-aged children
