Maths Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Maths Teacher to join our team in a coastal town in Northumberland. As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics lessons to students, marking workbooks and assessments, and maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching Maths lessons to students of varying abilities
  • Marking and providing feedback on student workbooks and assessments
  • Monitoring student progress and identifying areas for improvement
  • Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement Maths curriculum

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • Experience of teaching Maths to students of varying abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
