Parts Administrator

AAT Safety are a company based in Ayr, Scotland who operate within the UK Renewable Wind Industry. A vacancy exists for a proactive and self-driven individual to join our Projects and Repairs Department. The role will be to support the Projects Manager on a daily basis to perform a variety of admin and warehouse tasks including:
- Raising quotations, invoicing and raising purchase orders on Xero Software
- Ensuring a fluid transition of parts coming in and out of a busy goods department and effectively tracking orders
- Effectively managing stock levels and Restocking items where required
- Handling queries from clients and providing a high quality, responsive and consistent service. Keeping management updated on the status of each order.
- Answering telephone calls / transferring calls / taking messages
- Handling and packing deliveries for collection
The following skills and experience are required:
- Microsoft packages (Outlook, Work and Excel)
- Experience of Xero Accounting Software preferred
- Some technical knowledge of mechanical / electrical parts preferred
- Are a strong communicator who is confident in liaising with both internal and external parties
- Are comfortable managing and prioritising your own workload
- Have a keen eye for detail, enjoy working to the very highest of standards and always strive for perfection, take pride in the quality of their work
- Excellent telephone manner
- Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
