We are now looking for a Senior Administrator to join our team on a part-time, fixed-term contract to support the Strategic Management Team in the running of the organisation. This role will be based in the Redruth with some evening and weekend commitments.

If you have experience carrying out a wide range of finance and HR administrative duties, have outstanding organisational skills, are proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on Excel, are solution-focused in your attitude to all tasks, and are able to work independently or be directed, we want to hear from you

**The Role**

As the Finance and HR Administrator, you will support the Resources Director with finance and HR support for the organisation. The role will involve a high level of attention to detail with a focus on data input, reconciliation, and monitoring financial and personal information using Xero and Excel. You will work as part of a close-knit team, compiling and preparing monthly and quarterly claims for the various projects that fund CN4C’s activities. You will compile evidence from timesheets, invoices and other sources to complete claims allocated to projects, meeting the deadlines set by the funding partners. You will have experience of compiling similar claims, and general finance administration processes. Experience of using Xero would be advantageous.

In addition, you will manage various HR administrative processes and documents such as employment contracts, company policies, and updating internal databases. You will assist the Resource Director in the hiring process, from making calls to scheduling interviews and completing safe recruitment checks.

**About You**

To join us as a Finance and HR Administrator, you will need:

- Excellent data management skills, with experience in input, analysis and review of complex data
- A good understanding of financial processes, HR processes, administration and business reporting.
- High level of IT and Microsoft Office skills, as well as experience with a variety of programmes and platforms.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding organisational skills.
- An ability to take direction on tasks, and also work independently when required.
- A high level of time management skills.
- Ability to manage competing demands.
- Experience in updating and maintaining data systems.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- At a minimum, a Level 2 or above in business or equivalent experience

Experience of at least two years in a similar role is essential.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle would also be desirable.

This is a part-time role working 22.5 hours per week on a fixed-term contract until 31st December 2024.

Flexibility to work evenings and weekends will be required, as will the ability to travel to different locations at short notice.
