**Job Title: Communications Associate**

**Location(s): Hybrid, and willing to travel to our London office (and other UK locations if required)**

**Summary of Role**:
The role’s principal focus is to support the execution of the businesses’ integrated communications strategy - tackling projects aligned to both internal/executive communications and strategic marketing pursuits.

Reporting to the communication team’s Head of Internal Communications, the Communications Associate is a highly engaging professional and is responsible for initiating and delivering innovative work through a matrixed, cross-functional team and in the UK and globally with partners.

**Main Duties**:

- Support senior leaders to execute strategic communications plans
- Internal/Executive Communications
- Create timely, relevant and dynamic communications and collateral
- Manage and maintain content plans and grids
- Source and write content that supports our employee engagement strategy and vision, including responsibility for our internal newsletter
- Support employee engagement campaigns, activities and events
- Effective management of key business stakeholders and provide effective communications resource and advice as appropriate
- Responsible for digital asset management
- Responsible for managing DE&I communications both internally and externally.
- Marketing Communications
- Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
- Work with internal and external vendors to execute campaigns and events
- Plan and execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate channels, both internally and externally
- Assist in analysing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.

**Essential**:

- Experience of working within employee engagement, media, journalism, marketing or communications
- Experience of supporting the development of internal communications strategies and channels, including effective use of digital and video communications
- Experience of preparing and presenting communications materials
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise and act with a sense of urgency
- Skilled with web-based publishing and distribution tools, and design packages, i.e. Poppulo, SharePoint, Canva or similar
- Critical thinker with an ability to understand and simplify complex business issues and turn them into content appropriate for targeted audience groups.

**Desirable**:

- A degree in journalism, public relations, communications, English, marketing or similar area or study
- Experience of working in a corporate communications environment
- Experience in an international environment with a strong manufacturing or technical background
- Basic understanding of digital and experiential marketing campaigns that result in strong customer relationships and satisfaction
- Experience in developing engaging content and a strong storytelling approach that delivers impactful, positive outcomes

**Salary**: £1.00-£2.00 per year
