**Quality Administrator - New Vendor & Product Onboarding**
**9 Months FTC / Secondment**

**Key responsibilities**
As a Quality Administrator you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of IT systems such as Workflow and JIRA which track the Quality teams project work. You'll also be responsible for sending out and checking new vendor forms.
- Moving work tasks from one internet platform to another (workflow to the JIRA).
- Checking the QMT tool (another internet platform) platform to see that is has been correctly updated by the SAP system.
- New vendor management. Sending out forms and checking returned information.
- Maintenance of the B&Q vendor database.
- Collating existing vendor Desktop Audits.
- Linking desktop audits to onsite auditing activity.
- Understanding calendar of onsite audits and supporting PQMs with scheduling.
- Maintaining communication with PQMs regarding vendor onboarding.
- Ongoing communication with Buying Admin to resolve issues and identify new Vendors/projects.
- Attending weekly category meetings and updating stakeholders on progress.
- Creating Sustainability task in JIRA.
- Managing commercial expectations around new Workflow tasks, establishing deadlines where possible and notifying PQMs of incoming workload.
- Liaising with the Commercial Category Team to progress approval of products new to B&Q - admin process only, no technical understanding required.
- Requesting additional product data form the vendor - A list of what is required will be provided.
- Uploading vendor data to the internet storage platform.
- Keeping computer systems updated with the latest data.
- Assisting Quality Manager in organising regular meetings.
- Collating data for Quality Manager and Lead PQM.
- Updating documentation and creating new.
- Ad hoc admin - mostly vendor chasing for answer to requests already made.
- Holiday cover for status changes (Technical Team).
- Holiday rota management.
**Required skills & experience**
- Background in administration, multitasking and supporting colleagues.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good telephone manner.
- Computer literate: use of Excel/Word and several internal internet platforms including JIRA and the workflow tool
- Proactive self-starter
- Confident multitasker
- Highly organised
- Not easily flustered and with positive outlook essential.
