- ZSL is seeking a creative, meticulous Digital Content Executive for a 12 month fixed-term contract to help develop and maintain content across ZSL’s digital channels including zsl.org and related social media accounts. You will help to develop and maintain ZSL’s digital channels including ZSL.org, LondonZoo.org, WhipsnadeZoo.org and our associated suite of social media. You will be communicating and promoting the work of ZSL to a global audience. This post will combine office-based working (London) and remote working with some travel required to ZSL Whipsnade Zoo.**Key Responsibilities**:

- Sourcing, writing and editing online content and maintaining a consistent editorial style across all ZSL’s digital channels.
- Working with ZSL staff within commercial and communications, conservation, science and the living collections in order to ensure that their online communication goals are met.
- Responsibility for ZSL’s tone of voice and brand image online.
- Managing ZSL’s social media channels to improve acquisition, retention and engagement.
- The post holder will be expected to be able to communicate at all levels across the organisation in order to source and produce content and manage digital output.
- Strong writing skills, able to create crisp and compelling copy, and flexibility to adapt this for different channels,brands and audiences
- Enthusiasm and creativity for commissioning or creating photographic and video content
- Good knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) techniques
- Strong verbal and communications skills, able to build relationships and liaise effectively with people at all levels across the organisation to harvest/create compelling content
- Experience working across a variety of social media platforms
- Ability to work to a deadline and manage one’s own time effectively
