Marketing Specialist

**Job Purpose and Mission**
This job contributes to Starbucks success by supporting the development of strategic regional marketing campaigns and plans that focus on supporting growing brand equity and driving active consideration for the Starbucks brand across the EMEA region. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.
**Key Job Dimensions & Scope of Role**
- Supporting development of integrated campaign and marketing plans
- Supporting EMEA region across all markets and ownership models
- Supporting on the development of a New Store Regional toolkit
- Assisting on ad-hoc brand and marketing projects
- Expected working hours Monday-Friday 09.00-17:30 but flexible as per business requirements
**Summary of Key Responsibilities**
- Assists in setting objectives associated with integrated marketing plans including approach to brand activation, macro role of channels and budget investments.
- Coordinates the rolled-up recap of marketing activity and drives alignment on key learnings and implications
- Ensures that all EMEA markets, store segments and channels are captured in integrated plan and works with brand planning and marketing peers to ensure all markets receive appropriate and relevant assets and guidance
- Provides support in the creative process for given campaigns and projects - includes contributing to creative briefs, creative review process across all paid, owned and earned channels
- Manages the creation of tool kit for given marketing plans and works with Marketing Operations team to scale up and deliver to all EMEA markets
- Member of the cross-functional team with external agencies responsible for devising marketing plans to deliver goals and targets
- Coordinates the cascade of all approved marketing plans including key leadership approval meetings and delivery to store partners and licensees. Acts as point of contact within Marketing function for requests from Licensed business partners for content and creative assets
- Support in the development of a New Store regional toolkit to help with regional store launch plans and build equity in emerging markets
- Manage ad-hoc brand and marketing projects/ regional requests where necessary
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Proven experience in marketing or advertising (2 years)
- Has worked within multifunctional teams to develop integrated marketing plans
- Experience of relationship management with external agencies, vendors or business partners
- Ability to think creatively
- Proven track record to develop integrated marketing campaigns that deliver on business results
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team locally or remotely
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of direct or indirect retail or brand marketing
