Your role
The Head of Distribution Strategy & Execution EMEA is responsible for developing and executing on strategic plans to ensure EMEA Distribution's continued successful growth and profitability. The responsibilities include identifying, evaluating and proposing prioritisation for new initiatives or potential areas of business enhancement, and creating business plans, aligned with long term goals of Invesco as well as industry trends and themes. The Head of Strategy & Execution will report to the COO Distribution EMEA, provides key support to Head of Distribution EMEA and works closely with the broader Sales leadership across the EMEA region as well as stakeholders globally.

**What we are we looking for**:
Lead the development and implementation of EMEA Distribution strategy, aligned with the broader Invesco global strategy
Leading annual planning activities within Distribution, as well as supporting Sales leaders in setting out plans for their respective geographies or client segments in EMEA
Idea generation and hypothesis testing of potential new areas for profitable business growth or enhancement
Monitor the execution of our strategic plans and provide metrics on progress
Providing support to both COO EMEA Distribution, and Head of EMEA Distribution, on topics such as presentations to the Boards or other governance forums, operating rhythm of the Distribution Leadership Team meetings, or other ad-hoc high priority tasks
Lead the EMEA Distribution Strategy & Execution team, providing managerial guidance and development to the team members

**What you can bring**:
Strategy consulting experience, or in-house strategy team experience, with focus on financial services and preferably specifically asset management industry
Experience in commercial environment, involving financial, people and project management
In-depth knowledge of the Investment Management industry, competitors and strategic trends
Ability to deliver high-quality presentations and analytical reports
Understands drivers of business profitability
Up-to-date knowledge of current economic and commercial environment and regulatory environment across EMEA
Experience in operating in an international matrix organisation
Strong idea generation abilities
Takes and accepts responsibility
Displays energy and drive and is results focused
Ability to influence others, generate consensus and impact across functions without direct hierarchical authority
Good interpersonal and people management skills, ability to operate across cultures
Diplomatic, but able to challenge status quo
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to tailor messaging to different audiences including messaging to senior executives
Ability to take a broad view of the business
Language skills beyond English preferable but not essential (e.g. German, Italian, French or Spanish)
