**Job description**:
As an Administration Officer you will be tasked with o providing a high-quality primary healthcare and administrative services to the entitled population under
the care of the Principle Medical Officer (PMO) at His Majesty’s Ship (HMS) Drake
The Medical Centre at HMS Drake provides primary healthcare medical services under the direction of Defence Primary Healthcare (DPHC) and the Regional DPHC Headquarters Facility based at His Majesty’s Ship (HMS) DRAKE.
**Person specification**:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- You will be responsible for administrative procedures within the Medical Centre, providing a welcoming and efficient service to all Patients at Risk (PAR)
- Administer all paperwork received from Secondary Care Facilities, updating patient records accordingly and tasking the appropriate clinician
- To be responsible as the AO in hospital appointments, deal with secondary healthcare referral paperwork. Liaising with hospitals and clinical staff, using the Electronic Referral System (ERS) booking system to secure appointments, offering effective and efficient service to PAR
