POSITION

**THE OPPORTUNITY**
We are looking for a collaborative individual with a keen eye for people and detail to join our HR team as Senior HR Advisor, providing a complete HR Generalist service and support focusing mainly with the brand Marc Jacobs, for EME within LVMH Fashion group UK.
As Senior HR Advisor you will act as an advocate for both the company and the employees and must adapt to the changing needs of the brand whilst delivering a customer focused, comprehensive, pragmatic, and high level of service in line with the companies’ policies, procedures and legal requirements.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
Develop an effective working relationship with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and early identification of issues/risks and opportunities.

**EMPLOYEE RELATIONS**
- Maintain a full knowledge of employment law & HR best practice and in conjunction with the HR team, ensure that all legislative changes are accurately reflected in company policies, handbooks, templates, literature etc.
- Provide professional and expert HR advice, guidance, coaching, training and support to employees and key stakeholders on a range of HR & ER topics - setting stakeholders for success to ensure that they have right skills, knowledge and behaviours to lead and deliver their business area.
- Analyse data to be able to pinpoint key challenges before they arise in advance through employee check ins, performance management etc. by working in collaboration with stakeholders to implement key measure and act accordingly.
- Take the lead in all levels of disciplinary, grievance, capability and appeal hearings for the portfolio including the full coaching of managers and associated documentation. Supporting and giving pragmatic solutions whilst ensuring fairness and consistency.
- Continuously identify any risks within the community and develop strategies and action plans to ensure all issues are dealt with efficiently.
- Supporting the HR team in ensuring that Diversity and Inclusion practices are adhered to and are forefront in all HR processes.

**TALENT**
- Oversee the recruitment strategy and support the Talent Acquisition Specialist to develop best in practice talent attraction and onboarding.
- Work with the Talent Acquisition Specialist to source and recruit high potential talent into the business and define a strong pipeline at all levels.
- Oversee and authorise the preparation and issue of appropriate contractual documentation in relation to appointments, terminations and variations of employment.
- Ensure all new starters have a positive onboarding experience, working with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and Line Managers to ensure a smooth induction to the business: induction, objective settings and HR check in.
- Anticipate future talent needs across the network and build own fashion and luxury network.
- Develop continuous management talent mapping.

**DEVELOPMENT**
- Make recommendations of development & training needs across the network.
- Coach and advise retail employees on career development and identify succession plans for key positions and talent.
- Run HR & Recruitment training for Managers alongside the HR team.
- With the Retail partners and Head of HR, review the population constantly to anticipate any development needs.

**PAYROLL**

Oversee the monthly payroll and annual reports and HMRC Processes, liaising with the payroll specialist in the UK and external provider in France.

**PROJECTS**
- Be active in driving projects to continuously improve the HR function: People Strategy, Talent, Employee Engagement & Development, DE&I, HR Analytics etc.

PROFILE

**ABOUT YOU**
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in HR
- Fluency in French and English written and oral is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or equivalent with a strong interest in HR, People, Recruitment and Data.
- Experience as a generalist HR advisor and Recruitment.
- In depth HR professional knowledge as well as advanced knowledge in current employment law and legislation.
- Strong commercial and business acumen.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as well as being adaptable, ability to multi-task and whilst maintaining excellent quality and attention to detail.
- Experience in leading, coaching and developing teams.
- Establish and build strong and nurture relationships with key stakeholders of all different levels.
- Ability to lead, implement and drive change.
- Identify risks and be solution focused.
- Experience working in retail organisations or with a strong interest in a luxury retail industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
