We are looking for a Billing Coordinator to support our Finance team. In this role you will provide a comprehensive, effective, efficient and accurate range of services to the client billings department with emphasis on the development and maintenance of a repository for client documentation.

Work location is remote, Manchester or Ashby-de-la-zouch.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Reviewing high volumes of documentation related to client billings.
- Working with Finance, Commercial Finance and Project Leads to resolve billings queries.
- Ensuring all client delivery confirmations are in place prior to issuing final invoices.
- Ensuring documentation is stored accurately to ensure the smooth facilitation of internal and external audits.
- Working with stakeholders to ensure all contracted work has sufficient PO cover.
- Working with stakeholders to review new projects to ensure correct setup.
- Providing cover for Credit Controller during periods of leave.
- Efficiently and professionally respond to internal and external queries, raising other team members awareness where necessary.
- To continually strive to ensure our processes are as efficient as possible and seek improve areas which are not.
- Participate and support the culture of TCEG/AEE.
- Adhere to TCEG/AEE’s business code of conduct and comply with all regulatory Company policies and procedures.

**Key Skill Requirements**:

- Effective and professional communication skills both internally and externally.
- Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise own workload within set deadlines.
- Proficient with the company’s financial processes.
- Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Numeracy and commercial awareness.
- Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ideally Oracle.
- Adaptability, able to cover other team members if needed.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Display a strong sense of initiative to be able to work independently and assess what tasks should take priority.
- A can-do attitude, not afraid to get stuck in.
- A genuine interest in accounting and an investigative mind to be able to spot abnormalities.

**Qualification Requirements**:

- GCSE or equivalent Mathematics and English required (Grade C or above)
- Previous experience in a financial role would be highly beneficial, but not essential
- A strong working knowledge of Excel is essential, and experience of Oracle Fusion would be preferable.
