Our client, a well-established local organisation, is looking to recruit an experienced **Customer Service Advisor** to join their busy team based in Tamworth.

To manage and develop a portfolio of customers within a territory to achieve targeted sales growth whilst ensuring that the highest level of customer service and support is provided

**Responsibilities of the Customer Service Advisor include**:

- Be available to receive incoming calls within 3 rings
- Deal with all customer issues/queries and service information promptly, efficiently and courteously, ensuring appropriate follow-up is completed where required
- Account database maintenance, ensuring all information is accurate and appropriate internal parties are notified upon completion
- Maximise all opportunities from incoming and outgoing calls to identify future business potential
- Maintain effective communications and good working relationships with all internal and external teams, particularly Operations, National Accounts, Sales, Stock Control and Credit Control to ensure maximum customer service levels are achieved
- Process both manual and electronic orders accurately, ensuring any errors (Eprice/Eprod/Ecust) are amended in a timely fashion to ensure delivery schedules are not adversely affected
- Perform all necessary maintenance tasks associated with website functions and notify relevant parties where further action is required
- Manage all customer complaints to a satisfactory conclusion

**The successful Customer Service Advisor must possess**:

- Experience of working within a similar environment
- Understanding customer needs and how to communicate effectively
- Ability to establish and maintain good relationships, both internally and externally, at all levels
- Enjoys and is keen to speak to people on the phone ingoing and outgoing
- Excellent written communications skills
- A proven track record of problem-solving
- The ability to work independently or in a team whilst delivering fast results together with exacting attention to detail

- IT literate
- Ability to prioritise a busy workload
