As a Supply Chain Executive, you will be responsible for managing the buying and supply chain process by ensuring that stock is bought at the best price and stock levels are maintained just in time. You will also need to support the wider team in forecasting stock levels. Organisation, communication and adaptability are key to being successful in this role. This is a challenging and exciting role where you will have the opportunity to make a real difference to our business.
**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:
- Manage stock levels of all UK Warehouses
- Maintain stock forecasting for Key Accounts and own-brand labels
- Ensure customer forecasts are provided to allow forward forecasting
- Ensure stock levels are correct at all times on the Sage system
- Perishable stock management
- Identify product lines that require reorder and placing Purchase Orders with suppliers in sufficient time
- Ensure best prices for POs at all times
- Identify overstocks and slow-moving lines to advise sales and product departments on a weekly basis
- Monthly report on stock levels of discontinued and obsolete stocks
- Reporting monthly stock targets to ensure adequate levels are kept in all warehouses
- Conduct factory visits in the Far East for sourcing and quality checks when required by the business
- Collating sales reports to analyse product demand and determine product life span/discontinuation.
- Communicate specific shipping requirements including carton marking information for all client and OL shipments.
- Pre-shipment QA; obtaining gold seal images/QC reports for shipment approval
- Best price and volume negotiation
- Ensure economic order quantities
- Replenish buffer stock for our Exeter warehouse
- Manage the Import process from original booking right through to delivery. Knowledge of Importing procedures an advantage.
**Person Specification**
- Experience in supply chain and stock management
- Experience of negotiating costs
- Forecasting experience
- Fluent in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
- Excellent Communicator (written and verbal)
- Good organisation skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Confident
- Flexible and adaptable
- Dynamic and driven to deliver

**Circumstances**
- Possible travel overseas when required
- A valid full UK driving license is required
