The role of **Housing Support Coordinator** is instrumental in assisting in the development and implementation of the Supported Housing Service.

You will have a real opportunity to make a difference to older people’s lives. It is an exciting challenge to help shape future services for older people in the city.

Line managing and working with a team of Housing Support Workers, you will have responsibility for supervision and appraisal of staff and ensuring day to day delivery of Housing Management and Housing Related Support services are being carried out.

You will be responsible for undertaking needs assessment and support planning for customers accessing the service and helping to ensure that customers are able to maximise their independence, remain an active member of the community and fulfil their potential.

You will deal with queries and complaints and work closely with third parties to deliver a high standard of service for our clients.

You will hold monthly team meetings with your team and attend professional meetings such as Best Interest Meetings. You may be required to attend other third party meetings and forums, to discuss our service and give presentations.

You need to have a good level of IT skills to enable you to complete KPI’s and stats etc. Experience with Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Publishing, SharePoint, Teams, etc.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a support/enabling role is preferable and a willingness to undertake NVQ or other relevant training if required.

A clean, full driving license is required, as you will be required to use your own transport during working hours of which a car allowance will be given.
