**Job Description**:
**Responsibilities and tasks;**
- Provide high level of communication to Agents
- Comply with Transhipment processes
- Comply with Customs reporting and regulations
- Meet performance targets (KPI’s)
- Identify potential synergies within the group with respect to Transhipment.
- Monitor and follow up performance of short sea-carries.
- Coordinate and execute import Transhipment in North Europe
- Maintain day-to-day transhipment activities in Europe
- Supervise operational transhipment issues in MED & BS
- Tracking of shipments to reduce mitigation of deviations
- Make direct tactical decisions with respect to Transhipment (T/S ports, hubs, preferred carriers)
- Approve invoices within delegation of authority limit
Job Requirements:
**Skills and Competence;**
- General shipping knowledge preferred though full training provided.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Capable of managing stressful situations
- Basic knowledge of maritime and transportation law would be advantageous.
- Must be well-organized, having structured way of working.
- Focused on delivering customer satisfaction both externally and internally.
- Result oriented and proactive in identifying improvement opportunities.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Able to work across countries and cultures.
- Team oriented.
