**Location**:Letchworth, Hertfordshire
**Salary**:£22,000 - £25,000
**Job Type**: 12 Month FTC
Our well-established client is looking for a Payroll Administrator to join their team based in Letchworth, on a 12 Month FTC basis. The main responsibilities of this role are to ensure the accurate payment and reporting of costs, whilst also timely processingof associated paper work.
**Main Duties**:
- Monitor and control Managers approvals of overtime and absence
- Control and input to system/logs staff holidays once approved my Management
- Calculate and control sickness absence payments for staff
- Calculate and control final payments for leavers, ensuring the T&A system is maintained and updated accurately
- Produce letters and summons for any overpayments of wages that occur
- Ensure weekly data checks and time period closures adhere time and attendance system deadlines
- Produce weekly reports for Payroll performance and various payroll reports that are required on a monthly basis
- Control and maintain status reports for all Training for staff that is required on an ongoing basis
- Ad-hoc absence cover for Admin and General Ledger Clerks
**Knowledge and Skills Required**:
- High visual accuracy
- Great attention to detail
- Confident user of Excel - Intermediate level
- Organised, with a confident telephone manner
- Previous experience of Payroll process and systems
