**Payroll & HR Assistant, Letchworth**
**12-month contract**
My client has an exciting opportunity for a Payroll & HR Assistant to join their expanding HR team. This is a part time role (28 hrs per week, Monday to Friday) and is offered on a 12-month contract.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Be the first point of contact for employees on any payroll related queries.
- Responsible for managing the monthly payroll administration for the payroll providers to ensure the company payroll is processed accurately and within the required timeframe.
- Assisting with monthly pension administration (UK and EU).
- Ensure legal compliance and strict confidentiality is upheld.
- Carry out administration tasks in relation to employee life cycle events.
- HR admin and ad hoc HR projects as/when required.
**Key things my client is looking for**
- Experience of payroll administration essential
- HR Administration experience
- Outstanding communication (written and verbal)
- Attention to detail
- Confident IT user being particularly familiar using MS Office packages such as Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
The salary for 28 hours per week is £20,000.
**My client would also consider reducing hours to fit in with school runs**.
