Job Title: Payroll & Pensions Administrator

The Michael Page (UK) company is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to manage their payroll function. As a Payroll & Pensions Administrator, you will be responsible for preparing and processing payroll, including wage calculations, overtime, deductions, and benefits. You will also ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, national insurance contributions, and other statutory deductions.

Main Responsibilities:
- Preparing payroll reports, tax filings, and other necessary documentation;
- Handling payroll queries and resolving issues promptly;
- Overseeing pension schemes, including enrolment, contributions, and processing;
- Maintaining accurate records for both payroll and pensions;
- Assisting with audits and internal checks to ensure compliance with relevant employment and tax laws;
- Providing assistance with understanding pay slips, pension benefits, and deductions;
- Staying up-to-date with changes in payroll and pension legislation and best practices;
- Suggesting improvements to payroll and pension processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

About the Role:
This is a permanent position with a competitive salary range of £32,000 - £38,000 per annum, based in the City of London. The role offers hybrid working, a permanent contract, and additional benefits.
