Bwthyn Y Ddol Assessment centre is a joint funded service provided by Conwy and Denbighshire Local Authorities alongside BCUHB.
The assessment centre delivers careers and experiences that are challenging, rewarding, and differentiated by our values in working together to make a positive difference to the lives of children to ‘have the best life’ possible. We do this by providing children and young people with a safe and supportive environment and a fulfilling experience where their voice is heard and centred on their individual needs and what’s important to them.
Being passionate about encouraging and supporting children to be the best that they can be is what we are all about. We are looking for individuals with a health background who share these values to join our developing team.
As a Systemic Psychotherapist for Bwthyn Y Ddol you will promote and coordinate a systemic model within the Bwthyn y Ddol residential unit, the MDT and through direct work with families as part of a joint Local authority and Health service.
Using your highly developed knowledge of systemic theory and practice. You will support the development and maintenance of strategic partnerships across the statutory, voluntary, private and independent sector.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
You will plan cohesively for health improvement and provides leadership for the systemic elements of the Bwthyn Y DDol offering, as well as providing direction for partnership programmes and initiatives and supporting the continuing development of these services as agreed with the Service Lead for the Health Board and local authority.
Bwthyn Y Ddol is a residential service operating over a 7 day week. We cater to the diverse range of needs of our young people and their families. We expect our team members to demonstrate flexibility in their working hours to ensure timely care and support is provided in the right setting at the right time.
