We are seeking a qualified Speech Therapist to join our team as a Community Adult Rehabilitation Specialist - Speech and Language. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver effective interventions and support to families and young people.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy and a deep understanding of neurodevelopmental disorders and their impact on families. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.

Responsibilities and RequirementsKey Responsibilities
  • Contribute to diagnostic assessments by undertaking specific tasks as required.
  • Provide support to families and young people through group-based workshops and interventions.
  • Deliver 1:1 support to meet agreed outcomes and as agreed with families.
RequirementsEssential Qualifications
  • Registered Speech & Language Therapist.
  • Post registration training.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Other relevant courses or training.
ExperienceEssential Experience
  • Working with children or adults with neurodivergence.
  • Managing support staff.
Desirable Experience
  • Experience working with children with other disabilities or medical conditions.
Benefits

£45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience).

Please note that we are unable to provide further information regarding the salary due to data protection guidelines. The estimated salary range is based on industry standards for a Band 6 practitioner in the NHS.
