Follow the established Programme Management approach to project delivery that supports organisational change and the realisation of benefits to meet the organisations strategic objectives. Day to Day Line Management responsibility for a small team of Project Management staff ensuring appropriate support, development and training according to the Trust HR Policies and Processes. Accountable for co-ordinating and monitoring the Digital Services programme in line with the Trust Programme hub working in an uncertain environment, managing varying and conflicting demands. To plan and design the programme and proactively monitoring its overall progress, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.

Lead responsibility for the effective management of issues, conflicts, priorities and communications in line with the Trust Programme hub in a reactive environment. Ensuring that budget is allocated and managed appropriately, responsible for negotiating and securing budget for Digital Services work and meeting financial income targets. Working positively with the full range of individuals and groups involved in the programme throughout Digital Services and ensuring coordination and communication with Trust colleagues ensuring the delivery is in line with needs of the business. Ensure that the definition and implementation of the programmes are in line with the Digital Services governance framework, working closely with Information Governance Colleagues to ensure the necessary Data Protection Impact Assessment and Clinical Assessments are carried out to an agreed standard.

To ensure that the delivery of new products or services from the projects meets the requirements and is to the appropriate quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the Programme Plan and programme governance arrangements. Supporting the Leadership team in ensuring maximum efficiency in the allocation of resources and skills within the project portfolio.
