The Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust CYP Keyworking and Autism Intensive Support Service are looking for an experienced, innovative and enthusiastic **Senior Lead (Team Leader) **for a team that provides time-limited support to autistic children/young people aged 4-18 years to prevent unnecessary or avoidable admissions to mental health hospital settings. The post will be part of a multi-disciplinary senior leadership team. The CYP Keyworking and Autism Intensive Support Service work closely with education, health, social care colleagues, advocacy and third sector services.

The applicant must be a Registered Health Professional with up to date knowledge, of health policy and legislation applicable to autistic people, and proven skills in working with autistic people who have complex health needs.Adaptability, good communication skills, self-motivation and a means of transport are essential. Applicants must be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

The Service strives to provide forward thinking high quality services, working in partnership with other agencies. In addition to working with autistic children and young people and their families we have a strong commitment to public health, promotion of safeguarding and effective risk management through service development and training initiatives working within an enthusiastic and experienced team.

The post holder will work Monday to Friday 9-5 working to meet the needs of the team and the wider network.
