We are an established Main Contractor, based in Glasgow and Manchester, undertaking new build, refurbishment, facades and insurance reinstatement work within the industrial, commercial, residential and retail sectors throughout the United Kingdom. Last year, we celebrated our 40th year anniversary of trading and have a proven track record in high performance project delivery within the Construction Industry.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Construction Document Controller to join our team. The role will be full time on a permanent contract, within a fast-paced environment and based at our Glasgow Head Office. Reporting to the Construction Director, your duties will include for the following:
- **Duties Include**:

- Copy, scan and store documents
- Check for accuracy and edit files as appropriate
- Review and update technical documents (e.g., manuals and workflows)
- Distribute project-related copies to internal teams
- File documents in physical and digital records
- Create templates for future use
- Retrieve files as requested by employees and clients
- Manage the flow of documentation within our business
- Maintain confidentiality around sensitive information and terms of agreement
- Prepare ad-hoc reports on projects as required
- Assist with the maintaining of, and internal auditing of, a recognised QA process to maintain our accreditations
- You will be required to deal with enquiries, both in person and by telephone
- General administration duties

**Requirements and skills**:

- Have proven work experience as a Document Controller and/or similar role within the Construction Industry
- Have experience of a quality assured and accredited system of working
- Have familiarity with file sharing and management software such as SharePoint, Dropbox, WeTransfer, PlanRadar, etc
- Be conversant in Microsoft Office Suite
- Have knowledge of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS)
- Have proficient typing and editing skills
- Have excellent data organisation skills
- Display attention to detail
- Have a positive can-do attitude
- Be a team-player
- Be polite, courteous and professional
- Be detail-oriented and passionate about continuous improvement
- Be able to multitask and juggle multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a positive, proactive and professional attitude.

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Supplemental pay types:
