We are delighted to be working with our client in their search for an IP Systems Administrator based in their Southampton office.

This role is primarily involved in the maintenance, enhancements and life cycle management of IP configurations, letters, data and reports. This involves working closely with end users and team members to ensure that developments meet the business requirements and improve business processes. Work will range from administering IP systems, processing the IP systems mailbox requests, maintaining letters, analysing and maintaining data and working on enhancing the firms IP systems configuration. Data accuracy is of paramount importance and the role is required to review and maintain IP system data.

This is a great opportunity to work closely with our IP Systems Specialists, gain their knowledge and be part of making improvements to our IP teams. The IT team are based in Southampton and the usual hybrid working arrangement is 3 days in the office, 2 days at home but we would be willing to reconsider this for the right person

Salary from £25,000, if you have IT experience but no IP experience. We would like to know what salaries you are looking for to consider further.

**Key Responsibilities**:
These include but are not limited to:

- Configuration and management of IP Systems to meet the requirements of Intellectual Property Law and the Firm’s business practices
- Testing software build to ensure it meets requirements and examining the effect on cases
- Weekly processing of batch renewal data updates
- Analysis of IP systems software issues and providing solutions
- Perform weekly quality assurance checking in respect to automated searches and case details.
- Reviewing and checking law updates provided by CPA Software Solutions and analysing the effect of changes on cases.
- Develop, maintain and manage bespoke report and letter generation from the firms IP Systems
- IP System Mailbox processing including issue and problem logging, management and resolution
- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including training documentation, of any additional functionality or amendments to the IP Systems
- Assisting in the deployment of any changes to the firms IP systems as required
- Maintain Client Name Details in conjunction with Accounts to ensure parity with CMS;
- Enhancements and on-going management of IP System reports
- System administration of the firm’s IP systems
- Providing second line and where possible third line support for IP / Legal Services Systems including Inprotech, EPO Online Filing, iManage, Aderant CMS and SuiteCRM
- Providing support to the IT outsource providers in their delivery of managed services and the service desk in relation to IP system issues

**Person Specification**:

- Experience is preferred within an Intellectual Property services organisation, ideally having exposure to relevant Patent and/or Trade Mark formalities work _(desirable, but not essential)_CIPA and/or CITMA Administrator Certification _(desirable, but not essential_)

Experience as a member of a project team delivering business solutions _(desirable, but not essential)A desire to acquire/develop IT technical skillsExperience of using Microsoft Office to an advanced level - Creating macros, template creation, using VBA within MS Office.Experience of database technologiesExcellent attention to detail and able to work to work within a pressurised environment to agreed timescalesA positive attitude and the ability to work within in a teamExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills_

**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
