**About the Role**

DP World have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Support Admin, to join our Service Support team based in Southampton. We are looking for a highly capable individual with in-depth IT systems knowledge and experience, the ability to understand complex message flows linked to customs declarations and with a strong customer service focus

**How you will contribute**
- Support and maintain business systems to ensure 24x7 availability through monitoring, configuration and administration of the current infrastructure.
- Provide excellence in Customer Service through professional and consistent support by taking ownership at a 2nd line support level, ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved.
- Act as Technical Focal point for current and imminent projects where both internal and external customers are involved, defining system requirements where necessary.
- As part of the Service Support team, using technical expertise to plan and implement system changes for the Business.
- Work with external and internal users to define system requirements and resolve issues through problem diagnosis and root causes analysis.

**What you will bring**
- Technical working experience of working in an IT system support function supporting a complex infrastructure stack.
- Ability to organise, prioritise jobs and manage personal workload, working under pressure and to deadlines.
- Experience working within a ticket-based service desk and prioritisation of tasks/issues
- Technical experience/knowledge of installation, configuration and security of Linux (Redhat, Oracle Enterprise Linux), Windows Server 2016
- Technical experience/knowledge with virtualized environments such as Hyper-V, VMWare and others.
- Basic understanding of IT networking concepts (TCP, NAT, Routing rules, Firewall rules)
- Unix/Linux administration skills using command line interface and scripts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively both written and verbal at all levels.

**Desirable**
- HND/Degree in a computing or related discipline would be beneficial.
- Industry recognised qualification an advantage.
- Experience of JMS / IBM MQ Messaging services.
- Experience of Oracle or MSSQL Database queries.
- Understanding of containerised solutions, builds and deployments based on Kubernetes, Docker and Jenkins.
- Experience in working with cloud hosted Azure infrastructure, Entra ID (Azure AD) and Intune.
