Quickstart are a government funded Employment Support Service team, run by Brockenhurst College, who provide a range of free training programmes for unemployed individuals across Hampshire, Dorset and surrounding areas to help job seekers gain employmentor further education. We are a satellite centre based in central Southampton and have a range of facilities available to staff and students.

**About the role**:
As the **Employment Support Administrator,**you will provide comprehensive administrative support as part of the Employment Support Services Team (Quickstart).

**Responsibilities as our Employment Support Administrator will include**:

- Providing an efficient and comprehensive administrative service for the team, taking and communicating messages, working through the various processes and systems that support the work Employment Support undertake, with a particular emphasis on loggingcustomer referrals accurately on our Access Databases
- Maintaining learner packs and documentation and tracking relevant paperwork including pre-enrolment, pre-course and post course completion
- Working with the exams department to register, schedule and facilitate exams for learners
- Supporting tutors with courses where necessary, including classroom setup/tidying, exam invigilation, and maintenance of learner break room
- Supporting and dealing with queries from learners, visitors, partners, tutors and the public
- Supporting colleagues with regular and consistent tracking of learners post course to ensure accurate destination data is collected
- Providing hospitality and any other learning support materials needed for learning. Order and maintain stationery and other supplies
- Assisting in the implementation of an effective filing & storage system
- Supporting HoC and Coordinator with appropriate administrative tasks where required

**As our Employment Support Administrator, you’ll ideally have**:

- GCSE C English
- Completed or willing to work towards a digital/IT qualification
- Experience working within a busy office environment
- Experience preparing reports and formal documents
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including the use of Outlook, Word and Excel spreadsheets
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to form positive working relationships with external colleagues
- A desire to train and develop in areas identified in the review and appraisal
