**What are we looking for?**

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join the Administration team.

**Your Role and Responsibilities**

As an Administrator, you will be responsible for assisting the laboratories team with project set-up, sample booking-in, writing of technical reports and other administrative duties. The role will entail:

- Assisting in project management
- Maintenance of our sample database, interpretation of Safety information and preparing files for studies on receipt of samples/test items
- Taking deliveries, unpacking client samples & chemicals, and inputting data into our bespoke computer system
- Report Writing
- Answering phone calls from clients and suppliers when necessary.
- Generating sales orders on our bespoke computer system
- Providing administrative support to professional/technical staff covering 4 laboratories as well as reception

**About You**

**We are looking for people who can demonstrate**:

- Previous Administration experience
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail is critical for this role
- GCSE Science and English (or equivalent)
- A sound understanding of Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- You will be an effective team player with the ability to work within and across teams to optimise effectiveness and efficiency, as well as willing to support colleagues in achieving shared objectives
- Good IT literacy and confidence in the use of technology
- To be proactive, responsive and inquisitive - constantly looking for ways to improve.
- Are proud of what they do and the company they work for and, as a result, go the extra mile.
