**Key Responsibilities**

**Faculty Specific**:

- Performing research in the field of pharmaceutics
- Contributing to research excellence will be as a member of a research

team performing research at a comparable level to that take on by

lectures and will provide opportunity for originality and interpretation
- Working independently to manage the research projects
- Providing statistical and analytical explanation for the generated data
- Critically reviewing literature
- Contribute to writing the reports to the funding body
- Performing other practical duties as directed by the supervisor/line

manager

**Essential**

**Qualifications and Professional Memberships**:

- Educate to PhD degree level in Pharmaceutics or equivalent.

The purpose of this post is to perform experimental analysis for insulin lyophilised

formulations intended to be taken orally and to analyse the obtained data

according to the current literature.

**Knowledge and Experience**:
The role holder must have research experience with sufficient depth of

formulation of liquid and solid dosage forms and of research techniques to

perform experimental work on insulin formulations. The role holder will assist

with reports’ writing for the funding body.

**Desirable**
**Qualifications and Professional Memberships**:
Member of General Pharmaceutical Council

**Knowledge and Experience**:
To have knowledge on large drug molecule formulations.
