The Fortus London office predominantly manages a portfolio of clients across the creative industries, including architects and the built environment, along with others in the world of sport and entertainment. This client base makes for an exciting and dynamic working environment.

We are looking for an in house payroll executive to join the team, initially a part time role but there is opportunity for this to become full time if desired. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements are available although we do expect a presence in the office will be required at least initially to ensure a complete understanding of the firm, the wider team and expected working practices.

The role will encompass the following:

- Accurate processing of client payrolls
- Setting up PAYE schemes with HMRC
- Maintaining and updating client and employee permanent changes
- Assisting with other ad-hoc duties as required
- Knowledgeable in the administration of auto enrolment pensions via payroll
- Ensuring all starters, leavers, benefits, and allowances information is entered on to the Payroll database
- Calculating leavers pay when leaving mid-month
- Calculating statutory payments
- Process and sort payslips for distribution
- Running payroll reports
- Uploading FPS and EPS reports to HMRC as required

Our successful Payroll Executive will have:

- Minimum of 2 years payroll experience work experience
- CIPP trained or qualified preferred
- Understanding of the payroll software and its functionality
- Strong IT skills including MS Office and databases
- Experience of various pension providers
- Ability to build relationships with our range of clients
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Self -motivated and able to work under mínimal supervision
- Excellent communication skills liaising with ourselves and our clients
- The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment, where clients are at the core of everything we do

Salary £27-35,000 FTE dependent on qualifications and experience.

Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
