**Salary: £30,000.00 per annum.**

**Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:00pm.**

**What the Role is**:
As part of our Net Zero journey, we are seeking a talented Compliance Centre Officer to join our team and play a pivotal role in enhancing our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) policies by:
**Net Zero**:

- Actively contribute to the company's Net Zero journey by identifying opportunities for carbon reduction and sustainability initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies and projects that align with our Net Zero goals.

**ESG**:

- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the effective communication and implementation of ESG policies throughout the organization.

**Systems & Practices**:

- Design and implement systems to monitor and analyze energy consumption across various operations.
- Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and support the implementation of sustainable practices.
- Develop and implement strategies for monitoring and optimizing fuel usage, with a focus on reducing the environmental impact.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to track and report on fuel consumption metrics.

**General**
- Support with other compliance related tasks assigned to the Compliance Centre.

**What we need from you**:
**Experience**
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Buisness or a related field (desirable but not essential).
- Knowledge of ESG principles and sustainability best practices.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance standards.

**Professional Qualifications & Licenses (holding or working towards a distinct advantage)**
- A full five-year checkable employment history including a minimum of 2 work references, a personal credit check, right of work compliance.
- Other appropriate professional qualifications.
