**The role**:
The Quality Assurance Assistant (QAA) will provide support for Pall Mall’s key governance and compliance areas - Quality Assurance, Human Resources and Practicing Privileges (PP’s)
- acting as a coordinator / assistant to the QA Manager.

The QAA will have a constantly evolving role within a dynamic company / industry. Organisational skills are key to success in order to streamline and increase the efficiency of all operational matters - from bookings, patient care, patient notes, finances, HR, sales, marketing, customer service and more.

Healthcare experience is not essential as training will be provided. Many of our management and non-management team come from a range of industries, which helps us form a diverse team to deliver holistic care to our patients.

Who we are looking for:

**Core responsibilities**
- Assist in producing reports for quarterly meetings e.g. Clinical Governance and Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) and work collaboratively with other members of Pall Mall Medical’s governance team.
- Work with QA Manager to collect and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Understand legislative and all relevant regulatory requirements
- Uphold and the policies and procedures of Pall Mall Medical throughout all aspects of the work of the organisation
- Ensure the values of Pall Mall Medical are upheld across the organisation
- Carry out duties in accordance with Pall Mall Medical’s principles, policies and procedures
- Assist on the development and monitoring of quality assurance systems
- Conduct routine inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Participate in internal and external audits, providing support as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Assist in the development and updating of quality documentation, including standard operating procedures /protocol documents
- Assisting with compliance tasks, such as completing significant event analysis and complaints reporting for bimonthly meetings with Department Leads.
- Minuting of key meetings e.g. Clinical Governance, Medical Advisory Committee, Infection control/post op complications, Complaints/Incidents etc.
- Assist QA Manager with key tasks such as HR administration; recruitment checks processes, review of professional registrations e.g. NMC/HCPC, compliance checks / auditing, sharing of medical safety alerts,
- Any other duties deemed necessary to the business
