Business Development Executive

**Business Development Executive job in Poole**
Our client is a growing consultancy who work in partnership with businesses of all sizes to develop and secure new opportunities. Their mission is to nurture and develop long lasting relationships that deliver tangible growth for their clients. As a BusinessDevelopment Executive you will be delivering strategy, growing revenue, and ensuring a positive return on investment within their sector specialisms of energy, construction, civil engineering and marine.
**Duties and Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive**:
- Identifying new opportunities
- Business development and sales calls representing our clients
- Maintaining strong and lasting relationships with customers
- Meeting and exceedingly daily, weekly, and monthly KPI’s
- Building and maintaining a CRM database
- Participating in team meetings
- Contributing to companywide market intelligence gathering
- Attending conferences, meetings and industry events when required
**Skills and Experience**:
- A background in a B2B business development or sales function
- It is desirable that you understand at least one of the key sectors
- A clear communicator able to build strong and lasting relationships
- Demonstrated ability to organise your own workload and manage your time
- Experience in delivering individual and company KPIs
- IT literate
**Salary and Benefits**:
- A salary of £25,000 - £28,000 per annum
- Attractive commission package
- Monday - Friday hours
