We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Global Head of Personal Banking Proposition,

In this role, you will:

- Formulate, design and execute Personal banking proposition strategy for future growth and revenue opportunities, enabling HSBC to increase market share and compete in Home and scale markets, whilst delivering a level of customer and employee advocacy superior to regional and market competitors.
- Lead strategic projects globally where we need to consider a new direction of existing business or operations, address broader opportunities and threats. Manage and oversee the strategy in markets ensuring that strategic objectives resonate with market teams and customers and that the strategic goals are met.
- Work with relevant global and market teams to recommend, and implement, enhancements to the end to end customer experience for PB Customers which will support the creation and management of an industry leading differentiated PB proposition which drives value and delivery of the WPB Strategy and AOP
- Increases overall customer value through fact-based analysis and interpretation of customer needs, value drivers, revenue pools and costs to service
- Create a step change in the way we design and create customer value propositions, moving away from traditional bank vs customer lead, high cost and slow to market strategies to iterative and innovative processes based on market and customer insights, research data, design thinking, customer co-creation, whilst using partnerships and seed-funding
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

- The role holder should have 10-15 years of relevant experience. Of which a minimum of 5 years of relevant leadership experience within a customer focused, digital, propositions and products environment
- The role holder will have a strong background in digital and mobile given the focus on driving acquisition and engagement across our customer base. These skills are aslo critical as the role holder drives innovation across the PB proposition and looks to help HSBC co-create and collaborate closely with start-ups and customers.
- Line management experience or experience of supervising a small team while managing non-reporting large complex cross functional teams simultaneously.
- Experience of identifying and successfully integrating propositional or product nuance and design
- Knowledge and expertise on digital sales and marketing content strategy to support the origination and activation of customers

The base location for this role is London or Hong Kong. This role will have hybrid working arrangements with 3 days a week in the office.
