**About the Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Coordinator to be part of the Inverclyde School Aged Counselling Service. Part of a brand-new initiative (2020) in Inverclyde you will support a team of 11 Counsellors and Family Support Practitioners who help deliver effective intervention, management of cases and assessment of needs. Our service also ensures safe care and agreed positive outcomes with Families of Children aged 5-18yrs. The service is delivered predominantly in a mix of primary and secondary schools across the area but also where necessary in homes and community settings.

As a Service Co-ordinator, you will support the management of the team to provide a wide range of support to families, which enable positive outcomes to be achieved. This will be done in accordance with organisational policies, procedures and regulatory requirements. We require the appointed Service Co-ordinator to have flexibility and willingness to work evenings and weekends on an occasional basis. We are open to discussing the flexibility of the days the role requires at interview stage.

You will be work as part of a skilled team and you will establish close working arrangements with schools and NHS services including CAMHS.

**You **will** make a difference by**:

- Leading a small team to deliver the Inverclyde School Aged Counselling service.
- Being responsible for the delivery and implementation of the service.
- Giving families support to manage their own positive outcomes.
- Managing a delegated

**You **will** need**:

- SVQ3/HNC or equivalent in social care, youth work, working with families, childcare or another relevant field.
- Experience of managing and leading a team.
- Advanced experience of chairing, supporting and contributing to service planning meetings.
- Ability to lead and develop service implementation plan.
- Working in collaboration to achieve change within your immediate team and wider multi agency partnerships.
- Experience of collating and producing reports, capturing, and progressing the relevant information for a desired outcome.
- Competent user of Microsoft office packages.
- Travel in the community for this role is essential so use of your own transport is desirable.
