Position Overview: We are offering a fixed-term or secondment opportunity for a duration of 18 months for the role of Senior Nursing Coordinator within the Inverclyde Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service (ADRS). The Senior Nursing Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the effective management and delivery of alcohol and drug recovery services in Inverclyde, ensuring that the highest standards of care are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and monitor activities related to ADRS key performance indicators.
- Lead clinical governance initiatives, including care assurance and standards compliance.
- Address and manage complaints, ensuring adherence to professional regulations.
- Supervise staff governance and provide nursing supervision and line management.
- Implement legislative frameworks and national board policies/guidelines.
The successful candidate will be an essential member of a multi-disciplinary team, supporting the lead nurse/service manager. You will contribute to the health and social care agenda and spearhead professional, practice, and service enhancements to guarantee safe, effective, and person-centered care delivery.
