**Business Planning and Analysis Specialist (Inside IR35)**

**Contract Term**: 3 Months (Possible Extension)

**Contracting Authority**:Network Rail

**Location: Milton Keynes, Hybrid**

**Role and Responsibilities**:

- We are looking for a proactive individual who is eager to support the business improve performance by providing expert data analysis and insights to the business executive, senior leaders and regional heads.
- As a member of the Business Planning and analysis team, you will work with the wider team to monitor our progress in achieving Network Rail’s CP7 strategic objectives.
- While no two days will be the same, as part of the role you will be involved in delivery of our key reporting outputs, collaborating with senior leaders, regions and functions across Network Rail to define the requirements for our products, provide customer support and maintain assurance of data and information to ensure we produce outputs that meet our customers needs.
- You will work with key stakeholders to source answers to the challenging questions asked of the business, bringing an analytical mindset to draw out valuable insights.
- You will be an integral part in developing our services, such as regional benchmarking, proactively looking for opportunities to enhance our products and engagement approach. You will have responsibility for planning and overseeing updates to our outputs as well as establishing robust governance and processes to successfully embed change.

- We need someone confident in handling, analysing and transforming data into insight which can help the business improve.
- You need to be curious and have strong critical thinking skills, with a willingness to challenge and get to the heart of ‘Why’.
- You will have experience in managing the development and delivery of analytical outputs, underpinned by effective planning and monitoring skills.
- You will be comfortable in engaging with senior leaders and can collaborate closely with region and functional teams as well as supporting our ambition to continually improve our service for our customers.**Disability confident**
