**Bookings & Marketing Coordinator**

Playback, Inverness's groundbreaking four-floor venue, is seeking an enthusiastic events coordinator with a flair for hosting, booking, and social media management. With innovative food and drink offerings, two rooftop terraces, and engaging activities like axe throwing, Playback is set to redefine the hospitality experience in Inverness. **Responsibilities**:

- **Events Management**: Take charge of hosting and organising events, including parties and special occasions. Utilise your creativity to curate unique experiences, ensuring each event at Playback is memorable and aligns with our brand.
- **Booking and Reservations**: Manage reservations and bookings efficiently, ensuring a seamless experience for patrons. Collaborate with the management team to optimise table turnover and maximise sales opportunities.
- **Social Media Management**: Oversee the venue's social media presence, creating engaging content along with the management team to promote events, daily specials, and unique offerings. Leverage social media platforms to enhance Playback's visibility and engage with our audience. Answering all enquiries effectively, converting enquiries into bookings and sales opportunities.
- **Sales and Marketing**: Play a key role in driving sales through effective marketing strategies. Collaborate with the management team and directors to develop promotions, loyalty programs, and advertising campaigns. Implement sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue goals.
- **Team Player**:assume any tasks set by the senior management team required for the running and development of the business.
- **Hosting**:acting as the host/hostess for the typically busy periods, ensuring smooth operation of turning over tables and having areas set up for parties throughout the day.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a hospitality environment, preferably a supervisory role is desired.
- A passion for creating memorable experiences and a keen eye for detail in event planning.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities to handle the demands of hosting events and managing bookings.
- Experience or desire to learn marketing strategies focusing on use of social media and outreach to local businesses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with both patrons and staff.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a continually evolving business.
- Training in elements of graphic design would be beneficial.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: Up to £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 36 per week
