About the Role:

  • Liaise with project management teams to plan access arrangements for construction activities.
  • Collaborate with the Construction Management and Estimating team to identify available possessions and optimize working hours.
  • Submit possession requests in line with Network Rail planning timescales and relevant format.
  • Plan and coordinate possession/protection arrangements.
  • Monitor and record changes to possession planning.
  • Identify potential risks and opportunities, contributing to risk management.
  • Maintain a safe working environment by considering all safety aspects when planning projects.
  • Liaise with other planning professionals to share best practices and improve planning efficiency.

Requirements:

  1. Prior experience as a Lead Possession Planner or Access Planner with team leadership skills.
  2. Proven track record of successful team management.
  3. Strong understanding of PPS planning principles.
  4. Core Level 2 SSOW planning qualification.
  5. PTS certification.
  6. Familiarity with the Network Rail Rule Book and ability to interpret relevant sections.
  7. Holding a full British Driving License is essential.

About the Salary:

The salary for this role is estimated at £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
