As the Business Administrator, you will be supporting the Service Manager in the provision of administrative support such as human resources, training and compliance, rostering of staff and bookkeeping.
Who we are looking for
We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and committed full-time permanent Business Administrator to join our team in Wallasey. You will have the values, passion, and determination inputting people first, whilst supporting lives of people with a learning disability or mental health illness.
It can be quite challenging at times, but the rewards are truly amazing to see our residents improving with the support we provide
Ideally, our new business administrator should have a business administration qualification, and experience in a customer service/office environment and bookkeeping. Working in social care would be a definite bonus. You must be competent in the use of Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Sharepoint and be willing to learn new software.

You will be based at Northern Healthcare, Wallasey Merseyside CH45 5DQ.
Working Hours
The role is a full-time position working 18 hours per week working flexibly.

Your main focus will be to provide administrative support primarily to the Service Manager and to the wider business. Your duties will include but not be limited to:
- Assisting the service manager with administration duties and work within CQC regulations.
- Handling incoming and outgoing calls in a friendly and sensitive manner
- Processing and maintaining HR files mainly employee starter, leavers and training information
- Managing rotas or shift planning
- Bookkeeping
- Welcoming visitors and providing refreshments accordingly
- Accurately managing petty cash, general finance and stock taking
- Dealing with tenants of the service
- Adhering to health and safety procedures, safe working practices and general data protection procedures

- Ensure professionalism is maintained at all times
- Be computer literate, including having the ability to work on Microsoft Office products
- Be proactive, friendly, enthusiastic, have the ability to prioritise and have initiative
- Have the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong business financial skills and abilities
- Respect for privacy and confidentiality
- Awareness of mental health
- Computer literate - Microsoft Office Suite including Sharepoint
