Using the Trust Information systems (Medway PAS, NotIS, ERS and DHR) carry out weekly validation of inpatient and outpatient waiting lists to ensure the Trusts Patient Access Policy is being adhered to and to ensure that all patient pathway data is accurate. Using Medway PAS, NotIS, ERS and DHR information systems to complete and validate a varied range of reports to ensure your weekly/monthly submitted data is accurate for reporting at corporate level. Investigate issues with pathways and amend Medway PAS to reflect the correct information in terms of pathway identifiers and RTT statuses. Alert managers within the team of any data found which does not meet national data standards.

Report unresolved discrepancies/problems or potential breaches of national waiting time and other targets to the Service. Use judgement and initiative to prioritise the importance/urgency of particular requests within specialty defined guidelines. To have knowledge and understanding of operational processes, practices, protocols and new legislative changes in particular around 18 week pathway rules and RTT measurement. To undertake other specialty specific duties in accordance with Trust policies and procedures to facilitate the patient pathway in liaison with the Service.
