Job Summary:
Responsible for quality inspection of completed products, Quality Assurance of components and investigations into faults & failures while maintaining the Quality and driving Improvements to the whole business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspection of converted vehicles, checking for compliance to specification.
- Inspection of incoming stock, checking for compliance to specification.
- Document control of specifications, control plans and drawings.
- Maintain control of quality standards by approving vehicle stage builds conform to company requirements and following standard operating procedures.
- Inspection of parts and materials.
- Underbody inspections, making sure safety legal requirements have been met.
- Carry out vehicle damage inspections, reporting any damage found.
- Recording statistics and reports for data analysis.
- Carry out water tests and road tests and record results.
- Data collection and updating spreadsheets.
- Perform final inspections on products and maintain build quality to the required standards.
- Promote a culture of involvement, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Job requirements:

- Product knowledge of commercial vehicle conversions
- Experience using Microsoft Office. Word, Excel, and Project (or equivalent packages)
- Experience/knowledge of manufacturing environment.
- UK Driving Licence.
- C1 Driving Licence
- Experience with Vehicle inspections. (Mechanical and/ Or Safety Checks)
- Experience and understanding of manufactured mechanically engineered components.
- Experience with reading engineering drawings & understanding the information within.

The hours for this role are 7.00 am to 5.00 pm Monday to Thursday
