**Job Summary**:
Responsible for quality inspection of completed products, Quality Assurance of components and investigations into faults & failures while maintaining the Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental aspects of the business, and driving Improvements to the whole business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspection of incoming stock, checking for compliance to specification.
- Document control of specifications, control plans and drawings.
- Maintain control of quality standards by approving vehicle stage builds conform to company requirements and following standard operating procedures.
- Adhering maintaining company policies
- Inspection of parts and materials.
- Raising of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR’s) and Engineering Change Requests (ECR’s). where issues have occurred.
- Investigations into NCR’s determine corrective action.
- Underbody inspections, making sure safety legal requirements have been met.
- Carry out vehicle damage inspections and documenting and reporting any damage found.
- Recording statistics and reports for data analysis.
- Performing CAPA studies.
- Carry out water tests and road tests and record results.
- Product and process audits.
- Data collection and updating spreadsheets.
- Working with production to reduce faults, create reports on a regular basis.
- Conduct meetings with various departments to prevent or rectify issues.
- Creation of instructions & standard operating procedure and quality alerts to highlight issues.
- Perform final inspections on products and maintain build quality to the required standards.
- Promote a culture of involvement, team working and continuous improvement.
- Support QHSE change initiatives and improvements in the value stream.
