We are looking for a motivated Finance Administration Assistant to join our Finance team.

You will provide financial transactional support to the team primarily using Sage 50, as well as helping to ensure all your department’s targets are met and preparing for the year end audit. You will become responsible for the accounts inbox, dealing with a range of finance-related queries.

**What will I be doing**
- Managing the accounts inbox, advising on a range of queries in a timely manner
- Preparing and raising ad hoc sales invoices
- Processing purchase invoices and expenditure on the accounting system (purchase ledgers)
- Using Sage 50 to process data
- Responsible for reconciliation of petty cash
- Posting remittances to the accounting system
- Helping the finance team to achieve departmental targets and preparing for the year end audit
- Providing additional clerical support including answering the phone, photocopying, scanning, opening and distributing finance mail, etc.

**What will I need to succeed**
- Finance administration or accounting experience is beneficial
- Experience in processing invoices
- Proficient in using Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
- Attention to detail is essential
- Strong numeracy skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good time management and ability to multi-task
- Desired: Experience with Sage 50
