We are expanding our team and are looking for a Transport Planner to join our Transport and Operations team. This is a crucial role for supporting the day to day running of the team, your key responsibility will be to build Operative Transport Plans to ensure the effective running of the Transport team to meet customer expectations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create daily Transport Plans ensuring they meet customer orders and expectations
- Work with the Transport Management Team to ensure effective management and planning of drivers
- Deliver effective communication to the whole driving team
- Answer customer, sales and driver queries and escalate where necessary
- Ensure driver hours and regulations are being adhered to with the Transport Plans
- Adhering to Health and Safety policies and practices
- Assisting with any other administration tasks as and when required

**Skills and Experience**:

- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Understanding of Working Time Regulations and Tachograph
- Ability to build strong working relationships
- Flexibility, can work in a fast-paced business
- Class 1 or 2 HGV licence
- Good English and Maths skills
- Good IT skills including Outlook, Word and Excel
