**A little about our Banbury Mills Site**:
The Banbury feed mill is in Oxfordshire and has approximately 40 employees. It produces around 4,500 tonnes of chicken and turkey feed per week. A fast-paced, dynamic Feed manufacturing environment which is noisy and dusty in some areas, manufacturing animal feeds where hygiene standards are critical. The role is both office and factory based.

**About the Role**:
Are you an experienced planner with strong scheduling skills? Thrive in working within a busy production environment? Are you looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a Production Planner to join our team in Brackley.

**What will you be doing as a Production Feed Planner at Avara?**

As a Production Feed Planner, you’ll be responsible for planning a manageable production schedule in line with customer demands. To ensure good communication and customer service to our customers prioritising their requirements on a daily basis.

**What will your key responsibilities as a Production Feed Planner include?**
- A suitable production plan to ensure customer demands are catered for.
- Ensuring the feed plan is deliverable in a timely manner based on available transport of any given day.
- Strong communication with customers building confidence while managing expectation.
- Excellent customer service prioritising customer’s requirements ensuring a good understanding of their daily needs.
- Communication with production and transport managers to ensure all plans are understood within both departments.
- A flexible approach to allow change within the plan based on unforeseen changes to mill running, transport and / or our customers.
- A good understanding of the mill’s capabilities to better plan feed demands.
- Willing to participate in other activities within the mill as and when there is a requirement.
- Follow the communicated escalation route for unscheduled plan changes and minimise disruption to our customers.

- Ability to focus on the right priorities.
- Ability to solve problems proactively and make effective decisions.
- Good accuracy and attention to detail
- A logical thinker with strong numerical, analytical and evaluation skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- High standard of IT skills and advanced excel knowledge.
- Experience within a similar role.
